The First Day

Our days of practice are over! Today was the first day of the Sprints, and Team Canada did incredibly well! We've already won quite a few medals and are shooting for more.

Under a Week!

It's now under a week until the Sprints start! The teams will be arriving on the 7th to get some practice time in on the reservoir before the 10th.

Platinum A Final Race

The VYPC Juniors were in the Platinum A final mixed division at the 2012 Nanaimo Dragonboat Festival!

Nanaimo Dragonboat Festival

VYPC was put in the Platinum A division at the 2012 Nanaimo Dragonboat Festival for the first time! We placed 4th overall with the 3rd fastest time out of 80+ teams (which were nearly all adults)! Not bad, VYPC Juniors!

Pemberton

The Victoria and Nanaimo girls just got back from a 2 day training camp in Pemberton with Hugh Fisher! They had a great time getting to know their new teams.

Dragonboating

We took 1st place as a High School team at the BC Dragon Boat Championships this year. Go VYPC! We're also heading off to Nanaimo for their Dragon Boat Festival on July 7th and 8th.

Out On The Gorge!

As soon as school's out, the juniors from Victoria will be practicing 6 days a week on The Gorge!
